Empowering Secure Communications for NATO Special Operations

In 2017, the Afghanistan National Army Special Operations Command, working with NATO Special Operations Component Command, required a secure, reliable, and encrypted network to send and receive data, they turned to L3’s UHF/VHF radio infrastructure technology.

This enabled operators to securely transmit emails, photos, and reports across great distances—despite lacking the traditional infrastructure needed for such communication in a volatile region.

Miller & Associates ensured ongoing operational support for this system awhile also training Afghan leadership to manage the network independently. The combined solution delivered secure, mission-critical communications that enabled effective operations in the field.

“The UHF/VHF solution, paired with Miller & Associates’ international support, provided the secure mobile communications needed to drive success.”
